Books I've Written & Edited
All of these books are aimed at helping 3D artists to get into the games industry - some can still be found on Amazon - www.amazon.co.uk/stores/author/B001JS0BNI/allbooks

My first book published by Focal Press. Teaching artists the quickest way possible (at the time), to get up to speed creating 3D models. A lot of the techniques stand today.

Game art complete was a book I put together from lots of other books by Focal Press. I picked the best tutorials, edited it all together so it made sense and delivered back to the publisher. It covers 3ds Max, Maya & Photoshop.

This book was a rework of the original 3ds Max Modelling for Games, but with new foliage section, a new environment and updated to the latest version of 3ds Max at the time.

In this book I brought together some of the best vehicle designers and modellers in the industry to collaborate on this fantastic compendium of vehicle design and build. The superstars invited were Brook Banham, Tim Brown, Johal Gow, Tom Painter, Robert Forest, David Griffiths & Paul Cartwright.

Due to the success of both original versions of 3ds Max Modelling for Games, I was asked to write a new similar book but with more stylised content. For this I created the Robert & Robot concept and produced a fantastic set of tutorials. Some of these were used when I was mentoring game degree graduates for Mastered.com to help them get jobs in games - most of them I taught did!!!

I absolutely loved seeing this version. I found it by suprise looking for copies of my old books - I had no idea it was produced. I hope I got royalties for that :)
